Field Trips

Field trips consisting of an hour long guided tour of the Cat Haven may be booked by calling or emailing the main office. The quarter mile unpaved trail winds through ancient oak and manzanita trees, making a wonderful nature walk, during which your class or group will be able to see some of the rarest cats in the world. A gift shop filled with exotic cat-related items and picnic areas are also available.

NOTE:  Due to a high number of last minute cancellations and “no shows” we have been forced to institute a deposit for upcoming field trips.

This deposit can be in the form of a Purchase Order for the full amount of the intended group OR $100.00 or half the total cost of the intended group; whichever is the lesser amount.   Deposit will be forfeited if the group “no shows” or cancels the field trip less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date.

We want all schools and groups to have access to our field trips and education programs and will do our best to work with you and your district to make sure everyone has access.  At our discretion, schools that have done yearly field trips with us may have this deposit requirement waived.

Advance reservations are required for groups larger than 10 people
