Private guided tours are led by one of our knowledgeable docents and only include members of your group. You’ll get the chance to walk along our ¼ mile trail and meet many of the species that call Cat Haven home. Private guided tours can last 1 hour to 1.5 hour, but is tailored to your group’s pace.
Zookeeper tours are led by one of our expert zookeepers and are private, only including members of your group. You’ll be guided along our ¼ mile trail to meet many of the species that call Cat Haven home by a member of our animal care team. These exclusive tours offer an amazing opportunity to view some of our more shy cats who are often eager to come out to say hi to their keepers.
Zookeeper last 1 hour and do not guarantee feeding or training of the cats during your tour.

This exclusive 2-hour long tour is led by our founder Dale or our assistant executive director Wendy and takes you along our ¼ mile trail to meet about 25 of our residents. Dale and Wendy are “dad” and “mom” to most of the cats here at Cat Haven and, while every tour is different, you may see things like a cheetah run, enrichment, or cub feeding and play times.

In our BTS (Behind the Scenes) tours, you’ll have a chance to shadow one of our keepers and see things like diet prep, training sessions, or cat enrichment. This tour can last up to 1 hour and focuses on one individual cat.

Behind the Scenes tours are only available through certain adoption and membership packages.
Have you ever wondered what a tiger eats for breakfast? During this specialty tour, you’ll find out what goes into feeding these large carnivores and help us prepare their diets. After the tigers have eaten, you’ll learn all about how we care for these cats and maybe even seen an enrichment session.
Next, you’ll enjoy a continental breakfast while chatting with a senior staff member about how Cat Haven began. Afterwards, join one of our public guided tours to meet the rest of our cats at no additional cost.

Join keepers for an exclusive enrichment session – paint with a Snow Leopard! Choose up to 2 colors per canvas and take up to 2 canvas paintings home. These paintings are one of a kind pieces of art paw-printed by an animal, so clarity and number of paw prints per canvas cannot be guaranteed.

You roared and we answered! This tour is essentially our Member- and Adoptive Parent- exclusive BTS (Behind the Scenes) Tour, however it is made to be available to anyone. Anyone can be a Cat Haven “Member for a Day”! In these specially tailored Behind the Scenes tours, you’ll have a chance to shadow one of our keepers and see things like diet prep, training sessions, or cat enrichment. This tour can last up to 1 hour and focuses on one individual cat. Afterwards, join us for one of our public guided tours to meet the rest of our cats at no additional cost.
For 9AM Member for a Day tours, choose from any one of our cats. Afternoon Member for a Day tours are limited to just our special AM&PM eaters.

Get an up-close experience with one of our small cat ambassadors during a Cat Chat. In this 30 minute encounter, keepers will demonstrate some of the specialized behaviors our cats know and explain why ambassadors play such an important role at Cat Haven.While Cat Haven staff reserve the right to select an ambassador on the date of the event, possible small cat species include Serval, Caracal, Lynx or Cheetah. Cat participation varies. Due to Federal law, no touching of the cats is permitted.

Take part in one of our most unique experiences! During this specialty tour, you’ll get the amazing opportunity to follow along with our keepers as they take one of our ambassador small cats on a walk. Depending on the cat, walks can last up to 1 hour. When booking, you’ll have the choice of scheduling a walk with a Serval or Caracal.

What to know before you go:
Can’t get enough Cat Haven? Join us for a half day or a full day for our most in-depth and immersive experiences. While every experience is unique, you’ll get an exclusive tour, have lunch in our VIP area, and join our keepers in a Walk with a Small Cat and a Cheetah Run! If you’ve never witnessed a Cheetah Run…it’s definitely a must see!

Please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.
No scarves or hats. Please wear good walking shoes; your tour may include walking our ¼ mile long dirt trail with steep up-hills and down-hills.
We reserve the right to change the date of your tour due to inclement weather. Tours will not be conducted if the temperature exceeds 95 degrees.
Due to Federal law, guests are not allowed to touch the cats. Failure to follow all safety protocol set forth by staff members will result in your immediate removal from the experience without a refund.
Project Survival’s Cat Haven promotes the conservation and preservation of wild cats in their native habitat by educating visitors and publicizing the work done by Project Survival Cat Conservation Group. Project Survival’s Cat Haven maintains an educational room at the facility for youth programs and an outreach program. The Cat Haven is designed to act as ‘base camp’ in the belief that preserving wild cats in their native habitat is the principle justification for maintaining them in captivity. Project Survival is engaged in fundraising, including the creation of endowments, to support wild life specialists and educators working in range countries.
